Siliken demonstrates its photovoltaic modules at Solar Expo in Verona

2008/05/17. Siliken consolidates its presence at Italy.

Siliken presented its standard photovoltaic modules and those for architectural integration to the visitors of the 2008 Solar Expo. These modules contribute some significant new advances and improvements in terms of efficiency.

SILIKEN, as one of the main manufacturers of photovoltaic modules, has been present at the Verona exhibition from 15th to 17th May with a sales team and a stand where demonstrated some of its products and services.

Quality panels, advice and after-sales service
Siliken’s photovoltaic modules, made from monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon, are known for their quality, efficiency, robustness, guarantee and durability. They are used both in stand-alone systems such as grid connected installations and in photovoltaic plants, industrial roofs, architectural integration or domestic homes and comprise of from 8 to 235Wp of power with efficiencies of up to 14.5%. This quality has been recognised by its clients, who have wanted to create their installations with a product that is reliable and durable, seeing as the minimum life of this product is 25 years and any deterioration and reduction in efficiency directly affects the profitability of the investment.

As an added value, Siliken provides technical advice to all its clients and installers, resolving any doubt about photovoltaic installations and systems and it boasts a fast and effective after-sales service. Apart from its own product, the Valencian manufacturer supplies the whole range of accessories necessary for starting an installation, from investors to connectors.

The SILIKEN stand has been visited both by professionals from the sector and by potential end clients interested in renewable energy. The expectations that the company hoped to reach at this exhibition were to understand the new trends and necessities of the market, reinforce old contacts, establish new relationships, and of course, give its product some exposure and strengthen the corporate image.

Special modules
As well as the standard modules, SILIKEN also demonstrated its special modules for architectural integration, which can be customised for the project in question, as much by typology (glass/glass, glass/Tedlar), by size and shape (triangular, square, hexagonal, round, etc..), as by the photoluminescent effect (red, green, blue, etc…). These modules are very suitable for singular buildings in which they are trying to join together energy production and sustainability with the aesthetic integration of the modules.
